BcA. Hanser Raul Estenoz Verdecia
I was born in Havana, Cuba. Dance became my passion from an early age and the decision about my future career direction was very clear. I want to be a dancer and give joy to people through this beautiful art form.
I studied dance for five years at the prestigious art school La Escuela Nacional De Arte in Havana, focusing on Afro-Cuban folklore and musical dance. My first dream came true when, at just seventeen years old, I joined the renowned Havana cabaret Tropicana de Cuba as the youngest professional dancer at the time, dancing to several thousand enthusiastic spectators every night.
After a few years, I got a job in Brazil and Senegal, where I also worked for a while as a dancer and choreographer. In 2016 I moved to Prague and founded LatinArte, an artistic formation offering Latin American dance shows and Latin American dance lessons. The success of our dance performances and the ever-increasing demand for dance lessons confirmed me in the correctness of my decision.
In 2024 I successfully completed my Bachelor's degree in Dance Pedagogy at the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and obtained the academic degree of Bachelor of Arts.
Whatever dance lesson or dance performance you choose, I will always do my best to pass on my energy, joy and love of dance to you!

Where else in Prague can you learn to move to Cuban rhythms than with a Cuban teacher <3 And that’s exactly what’s here. The opportunity to dance wild salsa figures with Hanser and at least try to bring the elegance into your movement expression that you can see with his dance partner Vilma, is exactly the moment in the whole workweek that is worth it
What exceeded all my expectations about dance opportunities, however, was the vacation in Havana with this teacher couple. The chance to learn from a renowned Havana dance instructor, deepen the knowledge I already gained in Prague, and then apply it at parties with Cuban dancers, made this trip a dream come true. Thank you for letting me be there :)

Dance lessons with Hanser are always great from start to finish. Lots of new figures that are beautifully demonstrated and even explained in detail. Plus great music and atmosphere. I definitely recommend

Hanser (and his partner Vilma) is a great teacher and dancer. He knows how to explain and perfectly demonstrate the movement. In addition, they both always radiate positive energy. I always have a good dance in class and I also have fun and mentally relax a lot. He has the ability to be a great dance teacher and dancer at the same time, so I definitely recommend !

Hanser is a great salsa teacher. Enthusiastic, funny, entertaining. I get to relax in his classes and learn new moves at the same time. Thank you! Thank you!

Dance partner BcA. Vilma Gelová, DiS.
Vilma comes from Hranice in Moravia and has been fascinated by dance since childhood. She graduated from the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, specializing first in modern and then in classical dance. She finished her studies with a high school diploma, then graduated with a diploma in this field.
She gained her first practical experience at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava, where she worked as a performer for five years. Her childhood dream came true - she became a ballerina and performed at the National Theatre. Further studies brought her to Prague, where she studied Dance Pedagogy at the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is currently continuing her studies in the follow-up Master's programme.
During her studies, she met Hanser, who introduced her to the world of Latin American dancing, and she discovered an immense love for this dance genre. She learned intensively from Hanser not only in Prague, but also in Cuba, where she participated in workshops and festivals. She became a sought-after teacher of dances such as Cuban salsa, bachata, samba and others. She is also an instructor of the Pilates movement method (3rd generation). She teaches alone and in pairs with Hanser, performs with the LatinArte dance group and accompanies Hanser on dance trips to Cuba.
Specialization: Classical dance, Cuban salsa, bachata sensual, modern and contemporary dance, character dance, flamenco, Pilates method.
